The Quest for Authentic Manhood course is a captivating journey designed to help you understand your masculine identity and make the pursuit of authentic manhood a lifelong priority. It offers a clear and compelling definition of what it means to be a man, extends the challenge to develop a personalized manhood plan and then inspires and equips you to incorporate the Quest into the fabric of your everyday life. It helps you discover your strengths and weaknesses, strengthening your relationships, and making new ones. Ultimately, this powerful 24-series course helps you to reject passivity, accept responsibility lead courageously, and expect God’s greater reward.

Is a 24- week course not long?

One of the greatest needs for men is time to effectively process their manhood. That is why a men’s ministry should be more that a periodic rally. This study, as opposed to seminars or rallies, gives men the opportunity to involve themselves with other men through interaction and rubbing shoulders with one another; providing a place where you can talk openly about what it means to be a man. This results in them coming alive (giving them something to live for) as they involve themselves in the lives of other men. Each 90 minute session consists of a 45 minute message and a very important structured 30 minute small group discussion.

The Starter Pack

The Quest for Authentic Manhood starter pack is available at FamilyLife at R2400.00 per pack of 24 DVD sessions, additional leader’s notes and DVD with clips to be used during the course.
The cost of the course, which includes the manual, is R500.00 per person.

The facilitator of the course is to inform FamilyLife how many of the participants attended regularly, (at least 20 of the 24 sessions} and how many submitted the Manhood Plan. FamilyLife will then give to the facilitator a special gift of recognition for everyone who completed the course and a further gift of recognition for everyone who submitted the Manhood Plan.
