FINDING COMMON GROUND WITH FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAMS

The family is intended to be the basic unit of society; a place for teaching and training children and also the place for training leaders. But never before has it been so plain that this is not happening, and the reason for this is simple .... God has lost His central place in the family and the family is allowing itself to be under attack from evil forces. Wonderfully there is a solution – family support programs provide practical advice on what can be done to build up a strong Christian family.

There is one ingredient that makes it possible for the family to be a strong unit – the power from God – enabling families to live with a new heart and a new life.

Family Support Programs play a huge step in making the concepts of recovery more accessible and attainable for people who would not have thought recovery was for them. If you haven’t been to a conference yet, we’ve got dates lined up for the whole of 2009 at various venues. All the seminars offer fantastic recovery tools and offer bible-based information and guidelines on how to step out from worry and to enter the joy and peace that Jesus promises when you seek Him first. Family support programs will help by -

  • bringing a person into a stronger relationship with God;
  • bringing married couples to a renewed commitment to Christian family Life, building up a community of strong and committed Christian families;
  • bringing people in the church to a fuller experience of life in the Spirit; strengthening and revitalizing community life in the church.

Family support programs start a transformation in Christ, and families are encouraged to persevere and live out actively the new life in the power of the Holy Spirit. There is a need for the strength and support of others; theres a need for a situation in which families can learn how to serve the Lord.
