FAMILY COUNSELING defuses tense situations
Perhaps you are going through a divorce, or maybe you are single and would love to have a partner but a successful relationship evades you; maybe you are part of a family where a parent is ill and dying; leaving you depressed and alone. Learn how to conquer feelings of disappointment and anger with family counseling; it uses biblical tools to deal with all seasons of your life, revealing ways to overcome major upsets and to rediscover the joy from knowing that Christ is in control of every situation.
There are an astounding number of people with all kinds of problems - from sexual abuse to depression to marital and financial problems to a range of addictions, and family counseling opens the door to freedom for anyone who longs to be free from these devastating and soul destroying challenges.
Family counseling encompasses workshops, seminars and courses on parenting and child rearing, couples communication, coping with marriage, substance abuse, managing change, loss of a loved one and more. If you are feeling overwhelmed and helpless, and your relationships are suffering because of your behaviour - you are irritable; you have withdrawn from social activities and your friends, and you are using drugs and alcohol excessively, family counseling helps you gain a better understanding of yourself, your relationships and your life ..... and works towards making positive changes.
Church members are not immune to trouble. At Family Life, our ministry’s focus is equipping the Church to disciple their people in these areas. Christian family counseling provides the expertise and encouragement you need, and helps individuals and families through their times of crisis.
We support and train the body of Christ to serve the family by offering Biblical resources for marriage, parenting and dating as well as youth mentoring. Books, audio, audio/video etc are all available as support systems to local churches; churches and church leaders can rely on us to help them fulfill their stewardship.
