CHRISTIAN FAMILY REFORMATION – unlimited possibilities in Christ

If a well-adjusted family can be defined as one where members enjoy physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, the dysfunctional family can be recognized by the opposite characteristics, and whereas a healthy family is able to create a safe and secure environment, a dysfunctional family has rigid behaviour patterns, and a lack of warmth and other problems can trap both parents and children in fear and anger. Christian family reformation is believing that God can heal, and He will not turn away from any family who seeks His love and guidance.

A loved one's addiction, a divorce, infidelity, illness and depression are Christian trials that threaten to tear families apart, and we try to force change, and when we cannot and we fail, we become angry and hostile and show no faith in the power of God's love to bring about Christian family reformation.

Parents convince themselves that quality time with the family is more important than quantity time, so to fill the parenting void, parents seek out other people, programs and clubs in an effort to give their kids so called quality time, fun, and meaningful achievement. This, of course, justifies working harder to pay others to do what God ordained the family to do.

The Christian family, especially the role of the father, has been under relentless attack by the forces of secular humanism; the solutions to Christian family reformation begins of course with turning to Christ; putting Him in His rightful place – the centre of the home. While books, radio programs, seminars and special events that focus on the family are wonderful to bring about Christian family reformation, unless Christians return to fundamental biblical living, we will only see the family decline further.
